Infracorp Partners with Abr Al Mutawassit to Deliver Third Phase of California Residences in Dubai

DUBAI — Infracorp, a leading UAE-based real estate investment and development firm, has signed an agreement with Abr Al Mutawassit Contracting Co to move forward with the third phase of its ambitious California Residences project in Dubai. The expansion will add 370 contemporary residential units, further strengthening the master-planned community’s reputation as one of the city’s premier housing destinations.

The agreement was formalized in a signing ceremony between Majed Al Khan, CEO and board member of Infracorp, and Wael Al Sahawneh, CFO of Abr Al Mutawassit Contracting.

“We are delighted to announce our partnership with Abr Al Mutawassit Contracting, which has a proven record of excellence and achievement in the construction sector and is renowned for applying the highest global quality standards and ensuring precise, on-time delivery,” said Al Khan.

“Our choice of Abr Al Mutawassit to implement Phase III of California Village reflects our confidence in their ability to realise our ambitious vision for this project, which is to create a sustainable residential community that combines luxury, comfort, and integrated services,” he added.

Building on Momentum

California Village is a $350 million development spread across 112,127 square meters, strategically located near Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, IMG Worlds of Adventure, and Global Village. The community already includes more than 600 residential units — villas, apartments, and townhouses — delivered in the project’s earlier phases, which have been successfully handed over to residents.

Abr Al Mutawassit’s role in Phase III underscores its growing presence in Dubai’s competitive contracting sector.

“We are proud of our partnership with Infracorp and look forward to leveraging our decades of expertise in contracting to deliver this distinguished project to the highest standards of quality and precision,” said Al Sahawneh. “California Village represents a forward-looking vision for residential communities, and we are excited to contribute to turning this vision into reality.”

Expanding Regional Footprint

The California Residences partnership is the latest in a series of high-profile developments for Infracorp. In June, the company announced Marina Bay, a $200 million luxury waterfront project on Reef Island in Manama, Bahrain, developed in collaboration with AAP Design Construction. That project signaled Infracorp’s broader strategy of delivering upscale, sustainable communities across the Gulf region.

With Dubai continuing to attract international investors and new residents, California Residences Phase III positions Infracorp to further strengthen its foothold in one of the world’s most dynamic property markets.
