Jacobs has expanded its Atlanta presence with a new Midtown office intended to support project delivery and collaboration across the Southeast. The office provides workspace for employees working on infrastructure and other complex projects in the region.
The opening follows more than 12 months of planning and construction. Employees began using the new location May 11.
The Atlanta office comes as Jacobs adds transportation-related work in Georgia. The company was selected by the Georgia Department of Transportation for construction engineering and inspection services associated with Interstate 285.
Jacobs also recently secured a five-year general engineering and design services contract with GDOT covering transportation infrastructure support in District 2 in East Central Georgia.
The new office is positioned to support Jacobs' work across transportation, infrastructure, environmental projects and advanced facilities in the Atlanta market.
For construction owners and infrastructure stakeholders, Jacobs' expanded Atlanta presence adds local capacity for engineering, construction oversight and infrastructure program support. The office also aligns with the company's recent transportation contract activity in Georgia, giving Jacobs a larger regional base for delivering public infrastructure work.
