Laporte, Ind. — Larson-Danielson Construction Co., one of Northwest Indiana’s leading construction firms, has announced the addition of four new professionals to its growing team. The new hires bring decades of combined expertise across project management, estimating, accounting, and client services — reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality projects and strong client relationships.

Joe Thompson has joined the firm as a Project Manager. A graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a degree in Project Management, Thompson brings 18 years of industry experience. His background includes leadership roles at CORE Construction and Hasse Construction, where he specialized in managing complex builds from start to finish.

John Nims has been hired as a Project Estimator. With 15 years of experience as a Local 1005 Carpenter, Nims developed his skills in precision construction and cost analysis. He also previously worked for Nims Construction, giving him a well-rounded perspective on both field operations and project estimation.

Alexandria Bucher joins Larson-Danielson as an Accounting Associate. A graduate of Ball State University, Bucher began her career in social work and auditing before moving into process improvement, finance, and accounting roles within the manufacturing sector. Her diverse background positions her to strengthen Larson-Danielson’s financial operations.

Shawnique O’Dell has been named Estimating Assistant. With more than a decade of construction industry experience, O’Dell brings a strong background in client relations, contract administration, and project coordination. She will play a key role in supporting the estimating department and ensuring seamless collaboration with clients and project partners.

“These talented professionals bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team,” said Brian Larson, president of Larson-Danielson Construction. “We are excited to welcome them to Larson-Danielson as we continue building projects that strengthen our communities.”
