Larson-Danielson Honored for Construction Excellence in 2025
The first half of 2025 has brought a wave of recognition for Larson-Danielson Construction, a 117-year-old firm that continues to lead commercial construction in Northwest Indiana. The company recently earned several major accolades for both new construction and remodeling projects.
Larson-Danielson was voted “Best Commercial Construction Firm for New Construction” and “Best Commercial Construction Firm for Remodeling or Expansion” by readers of Northwest Indiana Business Magazine. These awards are part of the publication’s long-running “Best of Business” program, which has honored Larson-Danielson multiple times since 2005.

The firm’s in-house design division, Facet Architecture, also garnered high praise. It received the “Best Commercial Architectural Design Firm” award for the third year in a row, highlighting its continued growth and reputation for delivering thoughtful, integrated design solutions.
Further recognition came at the 2025 CAF/NWIBRT Awards Banquet, where Larson-Danielson’s HealthLinc medical office building in Michigan City was named Commercial Project of the Year by the Construction Advancement Foundation (CAF). Designed by Facet Architecture and completed in February 2024, the 39,000-square-foot facility provides access to a full spectrum of healthcare services including dental, vision, pediatric care, podiatry, chiropractic care, and pharmacy services.
The accolades didn’t stop there. Larson-Danielson also received top honors at the Annual Excellence in Construction Awards from the Michiana Builders Association (MBA) and MACIAF for two standout projects: the HealthLinc facility and Graham Family Hall at the University of Notre Dame.
Graham Family Hall, completed in August 2024, is a 79,000-square-foot men’s dormitory that blends Notre Dame’s traditional collegiate gothic design with modern functionality. The four-story residence includes a chapel and features a central archway that connects both wings of the building. It houses up to 262 students in a mix of room styles.
“Winning the Excellence in Construction Awards is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team,” said Brian Larson, President of Larson-Danielson. “It highlights our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional quality and value on every project.”
