LeChase Construction Services recently organized a volunteer event in Durham, North Carolina, where its Southeast internship team supported food distribution efforts for area seniors.
LeChase Construction Services' Southeast interns volunteered at the Durham branch of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, helping prepare food assistance packages for older adults in the region.
Working alongside food bank staff, the volunteer team assembled more than 9,000 food boxes that will be distributed to senior citizens through the organization's hunger relief programs.
Regional Director of Community Engagement and Inclusion Denise Barnes and Assistant Project Manager Tesa Debroux also joined the volunteer effort.
