Women’s Participation in Construction Leadership

The event also provided a platform for professionals working across construction and architecture to exchange experiences and perspectives.

Debroux's involvement with the NAWIC Triangle Chapter board adds a connection between LeChase's workforce and the regional professional organization. Her participation reflects the role of industry associations in creating opportunities for networking, leadership development and knowledge sharing.

Why It Matters

Professional development programs and industry associations provide construction companies with additional avenues for developing field and corporate leadership talent.

For contractors and construction owners, leadership development can support workforce retention, collaboration and decision-making as employees progress into positions with greater project and organizational responsibilities.
