
LeChase Construction Services has promoted Burnice Laws to Superintendent II, expanding his responsibilities for field operations across the company's Southeast region.
Based in Durham, North Carolina, Laws will oversee subcontractors, suppliers, foremen and other tradespeople through preconstruction, construction and post-construction activities. His responsibilities will include coordinating work around safety, quality, productivity and project schedules.

In his new position, Laws will direct the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, foremen and other construction trades involved in assigned projects.
The Superintendent II position covers work from preconstruction through project completion, with responsibilities centered on maintaining safety standards, construction quality, productivity and scheduling.
Laws joined LeChase in 2016 as a superintendent and has since worked on construction projects across the Southeast region. His experience spans multiple market sectors and more than a decade in the construction industry.
Laws holds an associate degree in construction management from Wake Technical Community College and an associate degree in agricultural business and management from North Carolina State University.
He is also a licensed North Carolina general contractor, adding field and regulatory experience to his expanded responsibilities.
LeChase operates its Southeast business from offices including Durham and Charlotte, supporting construction and project management activities across the region.
The promotion adds experienced field leadership to LeChase's Southeast operations. Laws' expanded role places responsibility for coordinating multiple project participants and construction phases while maintaining focus on safety, quality, productivity and schedule performance
