New Photos Show Construction Progress at Mahomes and Kelce’s 1587 Prime Steakhouse in Kansas City
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Construction is steadily progressing at 1587 Prime, the highly anticipated steakhouse project from Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, in collaboration with hospitality group Noble 33.

Located inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel, the modern American steakhouse is taking shape with luxury and personalized touches that reflect the athletic duo’s legacy. Newly released behind-the-scenes images from Noble 33 show exposed ceilings, in-progress lighting installations, and an emerging vision for a sleek, upscale dining experience.
Spanning 10,000 square feet across two levels, 1587 Prime will include seating for 238 guests and feature a central 20-seat bar on the first floor. The restaurant is designed with entertainment and exclusivity in mind: private dining rooms, a custom-designed grand piano situated at the main staircase, art installations, and a private entrance for VIP guests are all part of the plan.
Design details will also subtly nod to the football careers of Mahomes and Kelce. While exact features haven’t been disclosed, expect custom elements that celebrate their championship history and on-field partnership.
The name 1587 Prime is derived from the jersey numbers of Mahomes (#15) and Kelce (#87), and the duo is working closely with Noble 33—a group known for high-end hospitality concepts in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, and London—to bring the concept to life.
No official opening date has been announced yet, but with the construction phase well underway, the steakhouse is one of Kansas City’s most anticipated culinary additions.
1587 Prime adds to the growing trend of athletes investing in hospitality and branding ventures that extend their influence off the field. Mahomes has already backed multiple ventures in Kansas City, including Whataburger franchises, while Kelce has dipped into media and fashion collaborations. Their partnership on 1587 Prime showcases how sports celebrity power is increasingly reshaping the dining and lifestyle scene in major American cities.
Located next to the Kansas City Convention Center, the Loews Hotel has been positioning itself as a premier downtown destination, and the addition of 1587 Prime is expected to significantly raise its profile among locals, visitors, and sports fans alike.
