Manafort Brothers Incorporated is preparing its annual holiday bicycle drive to support children through the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program, continuing a community initiative that has grown over more than two decades.
Announced Oct. 8, the fundraiser is being renamed the Jon Manafort Memorial Bike Drive in recognition of Jon Manafort’s commitment to generosity and community service. The initiative began as a small employee-led effort to purchase bicycles and has expanded to involve staff across company offices and field teams, along with subcontractors and vendors.
The drive collected more than 400 bicycles last year, according to Manafort Brothers. The company aims to continue the effort by raising money for bicycles and helmets for children in the community.
The 2026 campaign begins Monday, Nov. 2, and accepts donations through Friday, Dec. 11. The company suggests a $20 contribution, although donations of any amount are welcome.
Supporters can contact Jesse Garuti at 860-982-0594 or Michelle Brandon at 860-793-6415 in the demolition department for donation information. Monetary contributions are also accepted through Venmo at @ManafortBrothersINC.
The Toys for Tots program is also seeking new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages, with particular attention to children ages 10 to 14.
The fundraiser highlights how construction businesses can use employee and supply-chain networks to support local community programs. By involving workers, subcontractors and vendors, Manafort Brothers has built a recurring charitable initiative that extends beyond its construction operations.
The announcement is primarily a corporate community-service update rather than a construction project or contract development, but it provides a timely account of the company’s annual giving campaign.
