Florida's construction market is prompting contractors to strengthen regional leadership as project activity and operational demands increase across major markets. Manhattan Construction Company has responded by appointing Craig Bryant as senior vice president of Florida, giving him responsibility for coordinating operations across Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida.
Bryant will oversee Manhattan Construction's Tampa and Naples/Fort Myers operations and will be responsible for coordinating business activities across the two regions. The position is intended to provide centralized leadership as the company's Florida operations grow and projects become more complex.
His responsibilities include operational management, workforce development, business growth and client relationship management across the state.
Bryant previously served as vice president of Manhattan Construction's Naples/Fort Myers office after joining the organization in 2022. His work in Southwest Florida has included expanding the regional operation and improving its project and business performance.
Bryant has more than 28 years of experience in construction and has worked across multiple project types and delivery methods. His career includes participation in projects with a combined construction value exceeding $2.2 billion.
His experience will now be applied across both of Manhattan Construction's Florida operating regions. The expanded leadership role also places greater emphasis on coordinating teams and developing construction talent across the state.
For construction owners and developers, statewide leadership can provide a more coordinated point of management when a contractor operates across multiple regional markets. Manhattan Construction's move consolidates oversight of its Tampa Bay and Southwest Florida operations under one senior executive as the organization continues to build its Florida presence.
