Construction activity continues on a new academic facility at Saddle River Day School in Bergen County, where campus expansion work is focused on integrating a new science and entrepreneurship building with the school's existing architecture.

March Construction recently outlined progress on the Dr. Kristen Walsh Hall of Science and Entrepreneurship, an addition under development at the private school’s Saddle River campus. The project includes significant exterior masonry work designed to visually connect the new structure with adjacent campus buildings.
The expansion project includes installation of masonry systems intended to match the appearance and character of existing campus facilities. According to project details released by March Construction, the façade work is a central component of the effort to blend the new academic wing into the established campus environment.
Construction teams are coordinating stonework detailing, wall assembly components and exterior finishing elements as part of the building envelope program. The masonry scope also requires alignment with existing architectural conditions to maintain continuity across the campus.
The new Hall of Science and Entrepreneurship is being developed at 147 Chestnut Ridge Road in Saddle River, New Jersey.
The facility is part of a broader investment in academic infrastructure at Saddle River Day School. The project adds new educational space focused on science and entrepreneurship programming while expanding the school’s physical footprint.
March Construction is serving in a construction management role for the development. The company operates throughout the Northeast on commercial, mixed-use and institutional construction projects.
Institutional expansion projects in the K-12 sector continue to generate demand for phased construction approaches that allow schools to remain operational during development activity. Exterior integration work, including façade matching and utility coordination, is often a significant component of campus additions tied to occupied educational facilities.
School expansion projects present specialized construction challenges related to campus continuity, occupied-site logistics and architectural integration. For owners and contractors, projects involving additions to existing educational facilities typically require detailed coordination between new and existing building systems while maintaining ongoing school operations.
The Saddle River Day School expansion also reflects continued investment in educational facilities focused on science, technology and entrepreneurship programs, areas that remain active segments within institutional construction markets.
