Construction firms continue to expand leadership teams as project delivery becomes increasingly collaborative across design, development and construction. MASS Construction has added Jessica Acosta-Rubio as vice president of strategy to strengthen client engagement and support integrated project planning for commercial projects in South Florida.
Miami-based MASS Construction appointed Acosta-Rubio to lead strategic business development initiatives while working with developers, property owners, architects, interior designers, hospitality brands and commercial real estate professionals.
In her new position, she will focus on building industry relationships and supporting clients throughout the planning and project delivery process.
Acosta-Rubio brings more than 15 years of experience spanning design, construction, hospitality, commercial real estate, experiential marketing and strategic partnerships. Her background includes work involving hospitality developments, luxury residential projects, commercial properties and project implementation.
She has also held leadership positions with organizations including Miami Ironside, CasaCor Miami and the Gold Dust Hotel, in addition to experience with a property technology company serving major real estate owners and operators.
According to the company, the leadership appointment is intended to strengthen collaboration among owners, architects, consultants, designers and contractors throughout project development.
MASS Construction provides construction management, owner's representation, development advisory, preconstruction and general contracting services across South Florida. The company serves multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, adaptive reuse, historic preservation, office and urban infill projects.
As commercial construction projects become more complex, owners increasingly seek contractors that can coordinate planning, design and construction teams from the earliest project stages. Expanding leadership with experience across multiple disciplines can help improve stakeholder coordination, streamline project planning and support more efficient delivery for developers and property owners.
