Fuller joined the South Carolina-based general contractor six years ago after completing a three-year internship with the firm’s Greenville office. After graduating from college, he was hired as a project engineer and advanced to assistant project manager within two years.
In his new role as project manager, Fuller is responsible for overseeing construction operations, coordinating project teams and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
“Noah’s story exemplifies the value of a college internship for the student and the employer. Noah had the opportunity to experience life in the field, as well as the office, before even graduating – giving him a real-life glimpse into the world of construction and our company culture. For McCrory, we had the benefit of guiding his training and seeing his work ethic firsthand,” said Stephen Cooper, McCrory’s Director of Greenville Operations.
In his current assignment, Fuller is managing a large industrial project in Hampton County, South Carolina, for repeat client Agracel. The development involves the construction of a 50,000-square-foot speculative manufacturing facility designed to support industrial growth in the region.
The facility is scheduled for completion in spring 2026 and is expected to provide flexible space for future manufacturing tenants. Speculative industrial buildings are commonly developed in growing markets to attract new companies and support regional economic development.
Projects of this scale require coordination between contractors, developers, engineers and local officials to ensure the facility meets operational and regulatory requirements while maintaining construction timelines.
Fuller graduated in 2020 from Clemson University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and Management. His academic training, combined with hands-on internship experience, provided a strong foundation for his career in the construction industry.
Internship programs have become an important recruitment pipeline for construction companies seeking to develop the next generation of project managers and field leaders. By allowing students to work both in the field and office environments, these programs provide early exposure to the technical, managerial and logistical aspects of construction projects.
