Demand for multifamily housing continues to drive residential construction activity across the Southeast as developers expand housing options in high-growth markets. McShane Construction has completed District Eastside, a new apartment community in Greenville, South Carolina, developed for Flournoy Development Group.
The nine-acre development adds 262 residential units and mixed-use live/work spaces to Greenville's expanding housing inventory.
District Eastside consists of five four-story wood-frame residential buildings located at the intersection of Pelham and Boiling Springs roads.
The community offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment layouts featuring quartz countertops, luxury vinyl tile flooring, stainless steel appliances, walk-in showers, and contemporary interior finishes. Select residences also include private patios or balconies.
The development includes 10 live/work units designed to accommodate residents seeking integrated residential and business space.
The project incorporates a range of shared amenities intended to support modern residential lifestyles.
Indoor facilities include a resident clubhouse, gaming and entertainment spaces, fitness and wellness center, coworking lounge, hobby and art studio, and a grab-and-go market.
Outdoor amenities feature a heated saltwater swimming pool, grilling areas, fire pits, and a dog park. A separate building houses a vehicle wash station and pet spa.
Dynamik Design served as the architect of record for the project.
Multifamily developments remain an important segment of commercial construction as population growth continues to drive housing demand in expanding metropolitan markets. For developers, contractors, and construction owners, projects such as District Eastside reflect continued investment in amenity-rich residential communities designed to attract residents while supporting regional economic growth.
