Growing construction activity across Central Florida is prompting contractors to strengthen local operations, and McShane Construction Company is establishing a dedicated Orlando base to support work across the region.
The new Central Florida Regional Office extends McShane’s Southeast presence and gives the company a local operating hub for multifamily and commercial construction. The Orlando office will be led by Elliott Jackson, director of Florida operations, who has more than a decade of experience managing construction projects across the Southeast.
The Orlando location provides McShane with a permanent base in Central Florida as it continues building its Florida project portfolio. The office is located at 122 W. Pine Street, Suite 300, in downtown Orlando.
Jackson joined McShane in 2017 and brings experience overseeing multifamily and commercial construction throughout the Southeast. His background includes a Master of Real Estate Development and a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Auburn University.
The local leadership structure is intended to support project execution and client coordination as McShane expands its presence in Central Florida.
McShane has worked across the Southeast since 2005 and established its Florida presence in 2017. The company’s Florida work includes multifamily construction, a sector that continues to represent a significant portion of development activity across Central Florida.
One of its recent Florida projects is Springs at Hibiscus Crossing in Melbourne, a 288-unit multifamily community. The project adds to McShane’s regional experience and provides a recent example of the construction work supporting its Florida operations.
The Orlando office places McShane closer to developers, project partners and subcontractors operating throughout the region.
Jackson’s experience in multifamily and commercial construction gives the Orlando operation leadership with direct knowledge of the building types McShane is pursuing in Florida.
Establishing a dedicated regional office also creates a local base for managing project teams, coordinating with trade partners and maintaining relationships with owners and developers.
For McShane, the Orlando expansion builds on nearly a decade of Florida operations while positioning the company to pursue additional work across Central Florida.
A permanent Central Florida office can give construction owners and developers access to a contractor with an established Florida operating history while providing McShane with greater local capacity.
For project teams, local leadership can also improve coordination during preconstruction and construction, particularly for multifamily and commercial developments that require extensive coordination among owners, designers, general contractors and specialty trades.
