RENO, NEV. — Metcalf Builders, a leading commercial general contractor based in Northern Nevada, has officially completed construction on Echo Suites by Wyndham, a new extended-stay hotel now welcoming guests at 545 Double Eagle Court in Reno.

The newly built, four-story, 42,661-square-foot property brings 100 rooms and over $10 million in new hospitality infrastructure to Reno’s fast-growing market. Developed in partnership with Sandpiper Hospitality, the project aims to meet the increasing demand for flexible lodging options in the region, which continues to attract new businesses, travelers, and long-term residents.
Conveniently located near Highway 580, Echo Suites offers quick access to the greater Reno-Sparks area and is within walking distance of local dining and retail. The hotel is designed for both short-term guests and extended-stay travelers who need comfort and convenience during longer visits.
Each spacious suite is outfitted with a kitchenette, allowing visitors to prepare meals and settle in like they’re at home. Guests can also enjoy a range of modern amenities, including a well-equipped fitness center, a welcoming lounge area with vending machines, and an on-site laundry room, all curated to support longer stays and repeat visits.
“Echo Suites by Wyndham represents more than just a completed project, it’s a testament to the value of strong partnerships and disciplined execution,” said Bryce Clutts, President and CEO of Metcalf Builders. “From groundbreaking to grand opening, our team brought precision and pride to every detail. We’re honored to help bring a high-quality hospitality asset to Reno that will serve this growing community for years to come.”

Sandpiper Hospitality, which partnered with Metcalf Builders on the project, praised the teamwork and quality that brought the vision to life. “Sandpiper could not be more excited to begin welcoming guests to the brand-new ECHO Suites Extended Stay by Wyndham Reno,” said Carter Rise Jr., Vice President of Sandpiper. “We would like to extend our thanks to Metcalf Builders for being great partners on this project and delivering a clean, well-constructed, and beautiful building. The feedback from our management team at Sandpiper Hospitality and from Wyndham Hotels has been fantastic.”
This opening marks Sandpiper Hospitality’s second Echo Suites location to open in the U.S., further expanding the brand’s footprint in the extended-stay market segment. “This hotel is Sandpiper’s second Echo Suites to open, and we have high expectations that the hotel will thrive in the Reno market. We wish a warm welcome to all travelers to Reno!” Rise added.
With Northern Nevada continuing to attract visitors for both business and leisure, the new Echo Suites aims to deliver flexible lodging at competitive rates — filling a gap for travelers who want a comfortable, longer-term place to stay without sacrificing convenience or amenities.
Metcalf Builders, known for its portfolio of commercial, hospitality, and public works projects across the West, says the Echo Suites project highlights its commitment to precision construction, client partnerships, and strengthening local communities through smart, high-quality development.
