AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 10, 2026 — MMR Group President and CEO James B. “Pepper” Rutland has received the ECC Lifetime Achievement Award from the Engineering and Construction Contracting (ECC) Association, recognizing his long-term leadership, professional contributions and service to the engineering and construction industry.
The award was presented during the ECC Association’s 58th annual conference in Austin. The recognition highlights Rutland’s decades of work leading MMR Group and supporting workforce development across the electrical and instrumentation sector.
