LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas (HFHLV) has welcomed a new construction leader to its board of directors. Cory Frank, Vice President of Business Development and Project Management at Nigro Construction, has been appointed to help advance the nonprofit’s mission of creating affordable housing and building stronger families across Southern Nevada.

Frank, who has more than 15 years of experience in commercial construction, said his career has given him opportunities that he now hopes to use in service of others.

“Construction has given me so much throughout my life and career, and I believe it’s important to use those skills to give back,” Frank said. “Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas brings people together to build homes, stability and hope — values that resonate deeply with me. Serving on the board is a way to support that mission, connect my passion for construction with service, and help strengthen the community I’m proud to call home.”

HFHLV is a nonprofit dedicated to providing safe, attainable, and affordable housing to families in need. Working with volunteers, donors, and community partners, the organization has built 124 homes to date, directly impacting families throughout Clark County. By adding Frank to its leadership team, HFHLV gains a construction insider’s perspective on design, development, and cost analysis.

Angela Phillips, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas, said Frank’s appointment will strengthen the organization’s impact.
“We are so excited to welcome Cory onto the Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas board. We feel his experience and commitment to our community will be a tremendous asset to our organization.”

A dual commitment: business and community

At Nigro Construction, Frank oversees business development and project management for projects in healthcare, hospitality, retail, and industrial sectors. The company has been a trusted name in the Las Vegas construction market for more than 40 years, completing over $1 billion in new construction projects. Nigro emphasizes a design-build approach that balances innovation, cost efficiency, and quality — expertise that Frank now brings to Habitat’s mission.

Frank’s involvement is part of a broader community-focused culture at Nigro Construction, which has long supported initiatives that promote housing stability, workforce development, and community growth. His new role highlights how private sector leaders are increasingly lending their skills and resources to nonprofits tackling housing affordability and community resilience.

Building more than homes

Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas operates under the belief that everyone deserves a safe and decent place to live. Its efforts go beyond construction — providing pathways to strength, stability, and independence for families who partner in the homebuilding process. With Southern Nevada facing rising housing costs and limited affordable options, the organization’s work is more critical than ever.

By serving on the board, Frank hopes to amplify that mission, using his network and expertise to strengthen Habitat’s community partnerships. His appointment reflects both his personal passion and Nigro Construction’s ongoing commitment to Southern Nevada.
