Fire station construction projects in Alameda County were the focus of a recent site visit by Pankow Builders’ Northern California team, which toured Fire Station 7 and Fire Station 25 in Castro Valley on Oct. 20, 2026.
The visit brought team members together to review progress at both facilities and exchange technical information about the work underway. The stations are being developed for the Alameda County Fire Department, supporting infrastructure for local emergency response services.
The joint tour provided an opportunity for personnel to examine the projects’ progress and discuss construction activities with colleagues working on the facilities.
Pankow Builders has experience in general contracting, design-build and design-assist delivery, including complex projects and work in occupied facilities. The company also uses building information modelling, virtual design and construction, and lean delivery practices across its construction operations.
Fire stations are essential municipal facilities that support emergency response and community protection. Delivering these projects requires coordination among construction teams and public-sector stakeholders to meet operational needs.
The Castro Valley site visit highlights the importance of project coordination and progress reviews as public safety facilities move toward completion. Pankow Builders has not disclosed construction values, detailed schedules or expected opening dates for the two stations in the update.
