Large-scale urban developments across the Middle East continue to generate demand for integrated project delivery and construction management services. Parsons has secured a new contract to support the next phase of infrastructure work in Lusail City, one of Qatar's largest master-planned developments, extending its long-standing involvement in the project.
Parsons has been selected by Lusail Real Estate Development Company to provide program management, construction management, and construction supervision services for the Lusail City Infrastructure Program. The three-year agreement continues the company's work on the development under a new contract structure.
The scope of services includes oversight of design and construction activities, interface management, project controls, quality assurance, and coordination among multiple stakeholders to support project delivery.
Located north of Doha, Lusail City covers approximately 38 square kilometers and includes 19 residential, commercial, mixed-use, entertainment, and waterfront districts, along with four islands and expanding hospitality developments.
The latest award builds on Parsons' nearly 20-year relationship with Lusail Real Estate Development Company, previously known as Qatari Diar's development organization for the project. Since 2006, Parsons has provided project management, construction management, and site supervision services for multiple infrastructure, utility, and landscape projects throughout Lusail.
The company has contributed to several major components of the development, including Lusail Marina District, The Seef Lusail Development, Lusail Plaza, Lusail Commercial Boulevard, and the Qetaifan Islands.
Lusail City remains one of the Middle East's largest master-planned urban developments, combining residential neighborhoods, commercial districts, tourism destinations, and public infrastructure within a single integrated community. The continued investment reflects ongoing infrastructure expansion to support Qatar's long-term urban development objectives.
