Investment in water and wastewater infrastructure across the Southeast is creating new opportunities for contractors with established municipal relationships and specialized project experience. PC Construction is strengthening its regional business development team with the appointment of Trey Wilson as senior director of business development for Florida and Georgia.
Wilson brings experience in the water and wastewater sector, with a career focused on client relationships, market development and positioning teams for complex infrastructure opportunities. His appointment gives PC Construction additional business development capacity as utilities in the region address system growth, aging infrastructure and resilience needs.
In his new role, Wilson will work with PC Construction's operations, preconstruction and business development teams to identify opportunities and develop strategies for pursuing water and wastewater projects.
His responsibilities will include working with owners, engineers and industry partners, strengthening existing relationships and helping develop project pursuit strategies. Wilson's background in the sector also gives PC Construction additional market knowledge as it evaluates upcoming infrastructure opportunities.
Wilson has developed much of his professional network in Florida, where he has built relationships with owners and engineering professionals over his career. That regional experience is expected to support PC Construction's efforts to expand its presence across Florida and Georgia.
The appointment comes as PC Construction continues to maintain a significant Southeast presence. The company reports more than $2.5 billion in construction experience across the region, including municipal water and wastewater projects in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.
PC Construction's water and wastewater portfolio includes projects such as the Glencoe Water Treatment Plant Pellet Softening Expansion in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, the Atlanta Water Supply Program in Georgia and the Shakerag Water Reclamation Facility in Suwanee, Georgia. The company says it has completed $7 billion in water and wastewater projects overall.
PC Construction has specialized in water and wastewater construction for more than 65 years, with experience spanning treatment facilities, resource recovery projects and infrastructure upgrades.
Adding regional business development leadership can strengthen a contractor's ability to identify municipal infrastructure opportunities before projects reach formal procurement. For owners and engineering partners, experienced market representatives can also provide continuity during early project planning and procurement discussions.
Wilson's appointment follows PC Construction's recent expansion of business development leadership in other water markets, including the addition of Will Schafer for the Mid-Atlantic and Carolinas earlier in 2026.
Together, these moves indicate continued attention to water and wastewater markets where public owners are planning upgrades, treatment improvements and infrastructure investments
