Business Development Leadership

PC Construction has appointed Will Schafer as Senior Director of Business Development for its Mid-Atlantic and Carolinas water and wastewater markets. Schafer brings more than two decades of consulting engineering experience and will work with utilities, engineering firms and industry partners throughout the region.

The appointment follows Schafer's longstanding collaboration with PC Construction on previous projects and aligns with the company's continued focus on municipal water infrastructure.

Focus on Water Infrastructure

In his new role, Schafer will support business development efforts involving water and wastewater facilities while working with clients addressing infrastructure modernization, treatment system upgrades, PFAS-related projects, biosolids management and system resilience.

As part of the leadership transition, Alan Parent will direct his efforts toward expanding PC Construction's water business throughout New England.

Why It Matters

Utilities across the eastern United States continue to invest in water and wastewater infrastructure to address aging assets, evolving environmental requirements and long-term system reliability. Leadership additions that strengthen business development and client engagement can help contractors position themselves for upcoming municipal infrastructure opportunities and support collaboration with public owners and engineering teams.
