Engineering and construction firms continue to be recognized for delivering increasingly complex infrastructure projects across the Mid-Atlantic region. PC Construction has been selected as ENR Mid-Atlantic's 2026 Contractor of the Year, reflecting its work on major water and wastewater infrastructure projects and its regional project delivery performance.
ENR Mid-Atlantic recognized PC Construction for its performance across a portfolio of large public infrastructure projects in Maryland and Virginia.
Among the projects highlighted were the $269 million WSSC Water Piscataway Water Resource Recovery Facility Bioenergy Project in Accokeek, Maryland, the $142 million Motts Run Water Treatment Plant Expansion and Rehabilitation Phase 2 with a new raw water pump station in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and the approximately $256 million Arlington Re-Gen Biosolids Upgrade in Arlington County, Virginia.
The projects represent significant investments in water treatment and environmental infrastructure across the region.
The recognition marks PC Construction's second regional Contractor of the Year honor from ENR, following the company's ENR Southeast award in 2022.
The designation recognizes firms for project execution, innovation, leadership and contributions to the construction industry throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
