PC Construction has been recognized as Engineering News-Record (ENR) Mid-Atlantic's 2026 Contractor of the Year, highlighting the company's performance in delivering complex infrastructure projects across the region.
The annual recognition acknowledges contractors that demonstrate excellence in project execution, innovation, leadership, and contributions to the communities they serve. The award marks PC Construction's second regional Contractor of the Year honor after receiving ENR Southeast's top recognition in 2022.
Several large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects contributed to the company's selection, including the $269 million WSSC Water Piscataway Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) Bioenergy Project in Accokeek, Maryland.
Other projects include the $142 million Motts Run Water Treatment Plant Expansion and Rehabilitation Phase 2 and Raw Water Pump Station in Fredericksburg, Virginia, as well as the approximately $256 million Arlington Re-Gen Biosolids Upgrade in Arlington County, Virginia.
According to the company, these projects reflect long-term partnerships with public-sector clients while advancing critical water and environmental infrastructure across the Mid-Atlantic region.
PC Construction said the recognition reflects its commitment to delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining strong collaboration with owners, trade partners, and local communities.
