Historic preservation projects continue to gain recognition for combining structural rehabilitation, architectural design and sustainability. Plant Construction Company has received three industry awards for its renovation of Congregation Emanu-El in San Francisco.
The Congregation Emanu-El renovation earned the Structural Engineering Excellence Award from the Structural Engineers Association of Northern California (SEAONC) in the Historic Renovation category.
The project also received an AIA San Francisco Design Award and a Green Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum for Architecture, recognizing excellence in architecture and sustainable design.
Plant Construction completed the renovation in collaboration with Equity Community Builders and architectural firm Mark Cavagnero Associates.
