Construction companies expanding into regional markets are adding senior project leadership to manage larger workloads and strengthen client and trade-partner coordination. PREMIER Design + Build Group has appointed Charles Worrell as Project Executive for its Connecticut operations.
Worrell brings more than two decades of experience across ground-up construction, core-and-shell development, renovations and interior fit-outs. His background covers residential, mixed-use, commercial, retail, educational, institutional and hospitality projects.
Worrell will provide executive oversight throughout project delivery, from preconstruction through completion and closeout. His responsibilities include coordinating project teams around client requirements, contracts, budgets, schedules and quality standards.
His experience includes projects in New York with values reaching $175 million. He has also led project mobilization and field operations while coordinating owners, design consultants, construction managers, general contractors, trade partners and vendors.
Worrell holds a LEED AP Building Design + Construction credential and has maintained LEED accreditation since 2007. His qualifications also include OSHA 30-hour construction safety and health training, FMI leadership and train-the-trainer programs, and an Engineer-in-Training certificate from the New York State Education Department.
The appointment adds senior project delivery experience to PREMIER’s Connecticut team as the company continues building its presence in the state and surrounding markets.
Worrell will also serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, with responsibility for addressing project issues and supporting decisions throughout the construction process.
Adding experienced project executives can strengthen oversight as general contractors manage complex projects involving multiple owners, consultants, trade partners and vendors. Worrell’s background across several building sectors gives PREMIER additional project leadership capacity in Connecticut.
