
The sheet metal industry will recognize three experienced professionals for their contributions to the trade when SMACNA inducts its newest College of Fellows members in October. The association has selected Steve Doonan, Todd Hill and Ken Wiesbrook for the honor.
Steve Doonan is associated with DeKalb Mechanical in DeKalb, Illinois. Todd Hill represents Ventcon in Troy, Michigan, while Ken Wiesbrook is with Wiesbrook Sheet Metal in Plainfield, Illinois.
Membership in the College of Fellows is reserved for professionals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of the sheet metal industry through their service and long-term involvement.
The three honorees will be formally inducted during the President’s Luncheon on Oct. 28 at SMACNA’s 83rd Annual Convention in Orlando.
The recognition places industry leadership and long-term service at the center of the association’s annual convention program, giving members an opportunity to recognize professionals who have contributed to the development of the sheet metal sector.
For sheet metal contractors and construction industry stakeholders, the College of Fellows recognition highlights the role of experienced industry leaders in advancing the trade. The October ceremony will formally add Doonan, Hill and Wiesbrook to the group of professionals recognized through the program.
