The sheet metal industry is seeking nominations for professionals whose long-term service has contributed to industry advancement and association activities. SMACNA has opened nominations for its College of Fellows, with submissions accepted through Feb. 28, 2027.
The nomination program covers two groups: contractors and chapter executives. SMACNA has provided separate nomination forms for each category, allowing members to put forward professionals with extensive records of service to the association and the sheet metal industry.
Completed nomination materials must be postmarked or transmitted by email no later than Feb. 28, 2027. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.
SMACNA has also issued a call for candidates outlining additional information about the fellowship and nomination requirements.
The College of Fellows is intended to recognize professionals who have made significant contributions to the sheet metal industry and supported SMACNA over the course of their careers.
The nomination opportunity provides contractors and chapter members with a formal process for recognizing industry professionals whose work has contributed to the association, its chapters and the broader sheet metal sector.
Industry recognition programs provide trade associations with a way to document and acknowledge long-term contributions from contractors and association leaders. For SMACNA members, the College of Fellows nomination process creates an opportunity to highlight professionals who have provided sustained service to the sheet metal industry.
Nominations for the 2027 fellowship cycle remain open until Feb. 28, 2027.
