YORK, Pa. — The York Builders Association (YBA) is bringing back the South Central PA Construction Expo for its second year, promising an even larger event focused on strengthening the region’s building industry.
Scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Wyndham Garden York, the expo is designed to provide contractors, suppliers, and building professionals with a full day of education, networking, and access to the latest construction tools and technologies.
“Contractors told us they wanted a local event focused on them, with networking and education, and we are excited to deliver that again this year, even bigger,” said Laurie Lourie, executive vice president of YBA. “This is a unique opportunity for industry professionals to connect, learn, and explore the tools and services that keep their businesses strong.”
The day kicks off with networking and seminars at 7:30 a.m. The Exhibitor Hall will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring suppliers, service providers, and technology demonstrations.
Contractors who pre-register with a valid Pennsylvania HIC number by Oct. 7 will receive complimentary entry.
Beginning at 8 a.m., this event offers a hot buffet alongside targeted networking opportunities. Tickets can be added to any registration.
Attendees can explore educational sessions, industry speakers, and exhibitor booths while also participating in raffles and prize giveaways.
This year’s expo has been significantly expanded, featuring:
Organizers say the event is aimed at small and mid-sized contractors who often don’t have the time or resources to travel to national trade shows but still want access to industry insights and networking opportunities.
Founded in 1964, the YBA is a nonprofit trade association affiliated with the Pennsylvania Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders. The group advocates for the building industry while providing resources and professional development opportunities for its members across south central Pennsylvania.
