Acquisition Expands SRS’s HVAC Distribution Platform

SRS Distribution has agreed to acquire Lohmiller & Company, a Colorado-based wholesale distributor of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, parts and supplies.

The transaction, announced Aug. 10, 2026, is expected to strengthen SRS’s position in the HVAC distribution market and expand its presence in Colorado. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Denver, Lohmiller serves residential and commercial customers through four locations across the state. The company distributes Carrier products spanning residential, light commercial and applied HVAC applications.

Lohmiller currently employs approximately 220 people. Company owners Tim Brooks, Mark Brown and Roger Lee are expected to continue leading the business after the acquisition.

SRS Builds on Recent HVAC Expansion

The planned acquisition follows SRS Distribution’s recent acquisition of Mingledorff’s, another major HVAC distributor serving the Southeast. SRS said Lohmiller would become the second addition to its developing HVAC platform.

The two businesses share a strategic relationship with Carrier, creating an additional connection as SRS expands its HVAC distribution capabilities.

SRS CEO Dan Tinker said Lohmiller’s customer-service reputation and employee-focused culture made the company a strong fit for the distributor’s broader growth strategy.

Lohmiller President Tim Brooks said joining SRS is expected to provide additional resources and expertise while helping the company strengthen customer relationships and expand career opportunities for its workforce.

Continued Growth Across Building Products Distribution

Founded in 2008, SRS Distribution has grown into a major building products distributor operating through more than 1,300 locations across the United States and Canada. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Home Depot.

The Lohmiller transaction remains subject to closing conditions, and SRS cautioned that there is no assurance the acquisition will be completed.

If finalized, the deal would further broaden SRS’s building products portfolio while establishing additional scale in the HVAC distribution.
