Founded in 1987, Architectural Alliance has designed commercial, residential, institutional, historic and adaptive reuse projects across the region. The firm will continue operating under its existing brand and leadership team following the acquisition.
“Architectural Alliance represents everything we look for in a Stonewall partner—strong leadership, a legacy of project success, and a proven culture of service,” said Ben Moody, co-founder and CEO of The Stonewall Group.
Kevin Wilson, AIA, principal of Architectural Alliance, said the transaction positions the firm for long-term growth.
“Joining The Stonewall Group opens an exciting and powerful new chapter for our firm. Their investment and operational support allow us to enhance our capabilities while staying true to the mission and culture that have guided us since the 80s,” Wilson said.
The acquisition provides Architectural Alliance with expanded operational resources and access to a broader national platform while maintaining its boutique service model, according to a company release.
Headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana, The Stonewall Group acquires, invests in and operates architecture firms across the United States. The addition of Architectural Alliance strengthens the company’s presence in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
