STV has appointed Codi M. Newsom as vice president and justice market pursuit leader within its national buildings group, strengthening the firm's strategy to expand its portfolio of correctional and public safety infrastructure projects across the United States.

Based in the firm's buildings practice, Newsom will lead capture strategies for major justice-sector pursuits while working with planning, design and project delivery teams to position STV for large-scale correctional, rehabilitation and community-based facility opportunities.

Leadership Appointment Supports Justice Infrastructure Growth

In her new role, Newsom will focus on expanding STV's pipeline of justice projects by strengthening client relationships and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to pursue complex public-sector programs.

She brings more than two decades of experience managing justice and public safety projects for federal, state and local agencies. Her portfolio includes correctional capital improvement initiatives, net-zero energy correctional facilities and large-scale infrastructure programs delivered within complex funding and stakeholder environments.

STV said the appointment aligns with its long-term growth strategy in high-demand public infrastructure markets.

Expanding Expertise Across Public Safety Facilities

STV's national buildings group provides architecture, engineering, planning and design services across sectors including justice, education, healthcare, transportation, federal programs and science and technology.

The firm's justice portfolio includes projects such as the Macomb County Central Intake and Assessment Center in Michigan, the Worcester County Medical and Intake Facility in Massachusetts and the Iowa Correctional Institution for Women.
