Airport owners and transportation agencies continue advancing large-scale terminal modernization and capacity expansion programs as aging aviation infrastructure and passenger demand drive long-term capital investment.
STV has appointed Ray Moore as vice president and East regional aviation director to support aviation program delivery and client expansion across the eastern United States. The leadership addition comes as multiple multibillion-dollar airport redevelopment programs move forward in major metropolitan markets.
In the new role, Moore will help oversee aviation growth strategy and project delivery operations across East Coast airport markets.
STV said Moore’s responsibilities include supporting client relationships and managing delivery activities tied to large-scale airport modernization efforts in heavily trafficked aviation hubs.
Moore brings more than three decades of experience managing aviation infrastructure and terminal redevelopment programs within active airport operating environments.
Moore’s project background includes leadership assignments at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
His experience in the Northeast includes redevelopment and infrastructure initiatives involving John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport.
STV continues to maintain a significant aviation infrastructure portfolio that includes program and construction management assignments at LaGuardia Airport terminals and architect- and engineer-of-record responsibilities for Newark Liberty International Airport Terminal A in partnership with Grimshaw.
The firm also has participated in airport improvement programs at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and other major U.S. aviation gateways.
Airport modernization programs remain active across major East Coast transportation hubs as agencies address aging facilities, operational constraints and increased passenger volumes.
Large aviation infrastructure projects frequently involve phased construction planning, operational continuity requirements and extensive coordination among airlines, airport authorities and construction teams.
Engineering and construction management firms continue expanding aviation leadership teams as public owners advance terminal upgrades, airside improvements and long-term capital expansion programs.
For airport owners, developers and aviation contractors, leadership experience in active airport environments remains critical as projects grow in size and operational complexity.
Program delivery expertise tied to occupied terminals, phased redevelopment and multibillion-dollar infrastructure programs can influence procurement strategy, scheduling coordination and risk management throughout aviation construction programs.
