The completion of the structural steel framework at Service Wire's manufacturing expansion in West Virginia moves the project into its next phase and keeps a significant industrial investment on track. The milestone advances plans to expand domestic wire and cable production capacity at the company's long-established Culloden campus.

The final structural steel installation completes the primary building framework for the new facility. With the structure in place, the project team is preparing for interior construction activities and planning for the installation of manufacturing equipment.
Service Wire, a family-owned wire and cable manufacturer founded in 1968, is undertaking the phased investment to increase production capabilities and strengthen its nationwide operations. The expansion is occurring at the company's existing campus in Culloden, allowing the manufacturer to grow while maintaining operations at the active site.
To commemorate the milestone, project team members signed two exposed steel beams that will remain visible within the completed facility.
STV is serving as the owner's project management representative for the expansion and is overseeing construction coordination, scheduling and stakeholder collaboration. The project is being delivered using a progressive design-build model, enabling designers, builders and the owner to work collaboratively as design and construction activities proceed simultaneously.
The delivery approach is intended to support faster decision-making and improve coordination among project participants during construction.
Manufacturing expansions across the Appalachian region continue to create opportunities for contractors and construction service providers as companies invest in domestic production capacity. Projects involving plant additions and equipment modernization increasingly rely on collaborative delivery methods to manage complex schedules and maintain operations at existing facilities.
For construction owners and contractors, the Service Wire expansion highlights ongoing demand for industrial construction expertise, program management services and phased construction strategies that allow manufacturers to expand production while minimizing disruptions to active operations.
