STV’s artificial intelligence-powered STVie search platform has earned two honors at the 2026 SMPS New York Liberty Awards, highlighting the growing role of AI-driven knowledge tools in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.
The intelligent search platform received the People’s Choice Award, selected through voting by AEC industry peers, along with an Award of Merit in the Website category. STV said the recognition reflects its effort to make decades of project experience, technical expertise and institutional knowledge easier to access through a natural-language search experience.
STVie was introduced in June 2026 as an AI-enabled way for clients, employees, partners and prospective employees to find information across STV’s published content.
Rather than requiring users to navigate traditional website menus or search through individual pages, the platform allows questions to be entered in natural language. It then surfaces relevant projects, news and thought leadership from STV’s existing content.
The approach reflects a broader shift in how construction and engineering organizations are managing large volumes of institutional knowledge.
