Sundt Foundation has awarded $23,500 to four nonprofit organizations serving El Paso, Texas, with grants focused on education, family services, housing and inclusion.
CommUNITY En Accion received $5,000 for educational programming, scholarships and leadership development serving students and families in El Paso.
Heart Gallery of El Paso received $5,000 to support adoption awareness and outreach intended to connect children in foster care with permanent families.
Odessa Family Pathways received the largest award, $9,500, for shelter and support services for families with children experiencing homelessness. The funding is intended to assist families working toward stable housing and greater self-sufficiency.
Special Olympics Texas received $5,000 to support year-round sports training and competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
The grants were awarded as part of the foundation’s quarterly giving cycle and cover programs addressing several community needs in the El Paso area.
