Texas transportation construction will have a new regional leader as Sundt Construction expands the responsibilities of Kevin Graf, promoting him to senior vice president and Texas regional manager. Graf will oversee Sundt’s transportation operations across Texas while supporting regional growth and expansion into the Southeast.
Graf’s new position builds on more than two decades of heavy civil construction experience spanning highways, municipal improvements, light rail transit, reservoirs and dams.
He joined Sundt in 2021 as a project director and has since supported transportation projects and project teams across Texas. His expanded responsibilities will place him in charge of the company’s Texas transportation operations while also contributing to broader regional development.
Graf earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and holds a Professional Engineer license in Texas.
Graf’s background covers several major infrastructure categories, including highway and transit construction as well as water-related infrastructure. He is also a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and the Texas chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America.
Sundt operates across transportation, water and wastewater, advanced facilities, heavy industrial, mining, building, concrete and renewable power markets. The company has more than 5,200 employees and 13 offices across several states.
Graf’s promotion puts an experienced heavy civil construction leader in charge of Sundt’s Texas transportation operations. The role also connects Texas leadership with the company’s plans for continued regional growth and expansion into the Southeast, providing owners and public-sector clients with a new point of leadership for Sundt’s transportation activities in the state.
