Throughout the year, the Dallas-headquartered company earned four major construction awards from leading industry organizations, including Associated Builders and Contractors chapters in Greater Houston and South Texas, TEXO — the North Texas chapter of ABC and the Associated General Contractors of America — and the AGC-Texas Building Branch. The recognitions span courthouse expansions, healthcare renovations and advanced data center construction, highlighting the firm’s breadth of expertise across multiple market sectors.

TDIndustries received the ABC Greater Houston Excellence in Construction Award for its work on the Brazoria County Courthouse Justice Center Expansion. The complex project involved modernizing the mechanical systems of a 1940s-era courthouse, renovating five floors of a 1970s justice center and constructing a new six-story administrative building, all while maintaining uninterrupted operations in an active civic complex.

In North Texas, TDIndustries earned both the TEXO Distinguished Building Award and the AGC-Texas Building Branch Outstanding Construction Award for its work on the Texas Data Center Project. The company’s execution during the first phase of construction helped secure a follow-on contract to deliver what is expected to be the first major direct liquid-cooling data center project in the United States — a growing priority as operators seek more efficient ways to manage heat from high-density computing environments.

The company also received the ABC South Texas Excellence in Construction Award for the HCA Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital ICU and Rehabilitation Renovation in San Antonio. The project required extensive coordination and technical precision as TDIndustries renovated a fully operational hospital while navigating limited access, unpredictable weather and highly sensitive medical systems, all without disrupting patient care.

In addition to project-level recognition, TDIndustries was honored for its safety leadership. Doug Edrington was named the 2025 AGC National Construction Safety Champion of the Year, recognizing his role in advancing safety practices and culture within the company and across the broader construction industry.

“These awards are a testament to the dedication and expertise of our employee-owners,” said Matt Terry, President of Construction. “Whether delivering courthouse expansions, critical healthcare facilities, data centers or leading the industry in safety, TDIndustries continues to raise the bar for excellence.”

Company leaders said the honors reflect TDIndustries’ continued investment in innovation, workforce development and safety as it delivers complex mechanical construction and facilities services projects for clients in government, healthcare, technology and infrastructure sectors throughout Texas.

Founded in 1946, TD Industries has built its reputation around servant leadership, technology-driven solutions and a commitment to meeting client needs on projects of all sizes and complexities.
