The opening adds a new full-service restaurant to the hospitality facilities at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, strengthening the resort’s dining offering and expanding The MINA Group’s operating footprint in Central Florida.
Bourbon Steak Orlando is located within the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort complex in Lake Buena Vista. The location represents the 10th Bourbon Steak restaurant operated by The MINA Group.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place July 24 ahead of the public opening two days later. The event included Chef Michael Mina, The MINA Group President and CFO Tyler Roberts, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Area General Manager Sean Verney and Tishman Hotel Corporation President Robert Snyder.
The restaurant provides a contemporary interpretation of a steakhouse, with the interior incorporating rich tones, modern lighting and a combination of refined and informal design elements.
The food program includes Wagyu and dry-aged steaks alongside seafood and other specialty dishes. Menu offerings include tuna tartare, black truffle agnolotti, a hay-smoked tomahawk ribeye, Maine lobster pot pie and miso-broiled sea bass.
The beverage program includes wines from Old World and New World regions, along with bourbon selections, single-barrel offerings and cocktails. Nonalcoholic options are also included.
The Bourbon Steak opening represents an additional dining operation within a major resort property and adds restaurant capacity to the Walt Disney World hospitality market.
For hospitality owners and developers, the project illustrates continued investment in destination-oriented food and beverage facilities within large resort environments. The location also gives The MINA Group an operating presence in one of the country's largest tourism markets.
Bourbon Steak Orlando is open for dinner nightly from 5 to 11 p.m.
