The Village West Condo Project Completed in Manhattan’s West Village at 525 Sixth Avenue

Construction has officially wrapped on The Village West, a new 13-story residential development located at 525 Sixth Avenue in Manhattan’s West Village, marking the delivery of a boutique condominium project that blends classic design with modern amenities.

Designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Izaki Group, the 145-foot-tall structure spans approximately 123,000 square feet and includes 68 condominium units along with two ground-floor retail spaces. The property, also addressed as 100–106 West 14th Street, sits at the intersection of West 14th Street and Sixth Avenue, just south of Chelsea.

Recent site activity indicates the project has reached substantial completion, with construction crews removing the final sections of plastic barriers and metal fencing. The building’s façade, featuring detailed masonry and large window openings, is now fully visible along Sixth Avenue, while finishing work continues on interior retail areas and entryways.

Modern Residential Design Meets Urban Accessibility

The development introduces a mix of residential and lifestyle-focused amenities designed to appeal to urban buyers seeking convenience and wellness-oriented living. Lower-level amenities include a yoga studio, recovery suite with hydrotherapy and cryotherapy, infrared sauna, steam room, massage room, children’s playroom, pet washing station, bicycle storage, and laundry facilities.

At ground level, residents have access to a private outdoor courtyard and a fitness center. Additional shared spaces on the second floor include a bar and lounge, billiards room, golf simulator, and a coworking lounge, along with another landscaped courtyard.

The rooftop further enhances the project’s appeal, offering an outdoor lounge, private dining space, and a kitchen with barbecue grilling stations—features increasingly common in high-end multifamily developments.

Sales and marketing for the condominium units are being handled by CORE, positioning the project within Manhattan’s competitive luxury residential market. The development also benefits from strong transit connectivity, with the 14th Street subway station located directly adjacent to the property, providing access to the F, M, and L lines.

Boutique Scale, High-End Amenities Define Project

The Village West reflects a broader trend in New York City residential construction toward smaller-scale, design-focused developments that emphasize craftsmanship and curated amenities over sheer unit volume. With just 68 units, the project maintains a boutique profile while delivering a comprehensive suite of resident services.

Architecturally, the building integrates into the surrounding neighborhood while incorporating contemporary detailing, contributing to the evolving streetscape along Sixth Avenue. The inclusion of retail space at street level also aligns with ongoing efforts to activate ground-floor uses and enhance pedestrian engagement in dense urban corridors.

As construction activity winds down, the project stands as a completed addition to the West Village’s residential inventory, reinforcing continued demand for luxury housing in one of Manhattan’s most sought-after neighborhoods.
