DENVER — Aug. 21, 2026 — Thompson Thrift is expanding its Denver corporate presence with a new 10,000-square-foot office in the Denver Tech Center, strengthening its capacity to support development and construction activity across the Western United States.
The company signed a lease for the new space at Terrace Tower. The expanded office will bring Thompson Thrift Residential and Thompson Thrift Construction together, creating a more integrated local team supporting projects from site selection and planning through construction and completion.
Thompson Thrift established its Denver regional office in 2022 and has continued to expand its presence in Colorado and other Western markets. The company said the larger office will improve collaboration with municipalities, consultants, contractors and other project partners while supporting its growing development pipeline.
Thompson Thrift has been active in Colorado for more than 12 years and has developed 22 multifamily communities totaling more than 6,200 units across the state, from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs.
The company currently has three planned multifamily starts in Colorado, along with additional projects planned in Arizona, Idaho, Montana and Nevada over the next year. The Denver office will support planning, development and construction activities associated with those projects.
The expansion builds on Thompson Thrift's broader strategy of increasing its presence in high-growth Western markets. Earlier in 2026, the company said it expected to start 13 multifamily developments totaling approximately 3,913 units during the year, with Colorado among its key markets.
The expanded Denver office also brings together teams involved in residential development and construction, supporting Thompson Thrift's integrated approach to delivering multifamily communities.
The company said the investment is intended to provide additional capacity as its Western pipeline grows while maintaining close coordination among development, construction and other project functions.
Thompson Thrift has invested more than $7.3 billion into communities since its founding and operates as an integrated real estate company involved in development, construction, leasing and management.
The company also received a 2026 Denver Post Top Workplace recognition for the second consecutive year, based on employee feedback collected through a third-party survey.
The Denver expansion positions Thompson Thrift to continue pursuing multifamily development opportunities in Colorado and throughout the Western United States while expanding its local construction and development capabilities.
