Construction of a new maternal and infant health facility in New Jersey has advanced into the superstructure phase, with structural steel, exterior framing and enclosure activities underway. Torcon is progressing work on the New Jersey Economic Development Authority's Maternal & Infant Health Innovation Center.
The project has progressed from initial construction activities into installation of the building's structural components. Steel erection is underway, establishing the framework for the facility as crews continue work on the superstructure.
Exterior framing and enclosure activities are also progressing. These operations will move the building toward a fully enclosed condition as construction advances.
The Maternal & Infant Health Innovation Center is being developed through the NJEDA, with Torcon carrying out construction activities at the project site.
Current work reflects a transition toward completing the building envelope. Structural steel, exterior framing and enclosure installation are being coordinated as the project advances through this stage of construction.
