Tracey Road Equipment Expands Hyundai Dealership in Pennsylvania

Caroline Raffetto

Tracey Road Equipment, a long-established HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America dealer, is making a major push into Pennsylvania. The company, which has long served New York and eastern Pennsylvania, has now added three new branches in Pittsburgh, Du Bois, and Erie, greatly expanding its regional reach.

The family-owned dealership, founded in Syracuse, New York, in 1976, specializes in heavy trucks and equipment and has earned a reputation for deep customer ties and dedicated service.

“We are now able to provide sales, parts and service to customers across all of northern, central and western Pennsylvania,” says Christine Tracey Julka, vice president at Tracey Road Equipment.

The expansion means Pennsylvania customers will now have access to Hyundai’s full lineup, including crawler and wheeled excavators, wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks, skid steers, compact track loaders, and hydraulic breakers. Tracey Road’s investment in Hyundai has been key to its success.

“Hyundai is a primary equipment brand for us. By carrying the full line of Hyundai construction equipment, we have machines for each of our different customer bases,” Julka explains. “Hyundai’s aftermarket support and training for our people is tremendous and really helps us with our customer relationships.”

The dealership’s story is also a family success. Julka emphasizes that her father, Jerry Tracey, who founded the company nearly five decades ago, remains hands-on in the business.

“At Tracey Road, the customer has come first from Day 1,” she says. “We have great business and personal relationships with our customers, and we bring that same spirit and commitment to our business operations in Pennsylvania.”

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America, based in Norcross, Georgia, has been steadily building its presence in the U.S. market with a diverse product line and strong dealer partnerships like the one with Tracey Road Equipment.

As Pennsylvania’s construction sector continues to grow, the arrival of a well-established Hyundai dealer with a strong track record could provide a welcome boost to contractors and fleet owners looking for reliable equipment and local service.
