Turner and Pharmavite Inaugurate $250M Advanced Vitamin Facility in Ohio

Turner Construction Company and Pharmavite have officially unveiled a cutting-edge $250 million vitamin gummy production facility in New Albany, Ohio, marking a major milestone in both companies’ efforts to innovate in the health and wellness space. The ribbon-cutting ceremony welcomed community leaders, Pharmavite employees, and Turner team members, highlighting the importance of the project to the region’s economic and industrial growth.
Designed to enhance Pharmavite’s capacity and capabilities in the rapidly growing dietary supplement market, the new facility will serve as the Gummy Innovation Center of Excellence for the company. It will produce gummy vitamins for Pharmavite’s flagship Nature Made and MegaFood brands, while also housing key research, development, and product innovation activities under one roof.

The expansive 225,000-square-foot facility includes a sophisticated two-line manufacturing operation along with a 17,661-square-foot central utility building to support core systems. Additional infrastructure includes warehousing and fully equipped laboratories to facilitate testing and quality control.
In his remarks, Matt Kunz, Vice President and General Manager at Turner Construction Company, emphasized the spirit of collaboration behind the build. “The successful completion of this facility is a testament to what can be achieved through teamwork, trust, and a shared vision,” he said. “We are proud to have helped bring Pharmavite’s innovation hub to life and are excited for the role this facility will play in shaping the future of wellness.”
The project is not just a manufacturing milestone—it’s a statement of intent from Pharmavite as it accelerates growth and enhances its production capabilities to meet surging consumer demand. The company is positioning itself at the forefront of gummy supplement innovation, a segment of the health industry that continues to expand due to consumer preference for easy-to-consume, flavorful health products.
“The opening of Pharmavite New Albany is a very important milestone for our organization and will fuel the continued growth of Nature Made vitamins," said Ray Gosselin, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at Pharmavite. “The strong expertise and leadership provided by the Turner Construction Company team allowed us to complete this facility on time and on budget, which helps us get our products to consumers even faster and supports our mission of bringing the gift of health to life.”
Turner Construction highlighted this project as an example of its growing portfolio in the life sciences and advanced manufacturing sectors. The firm applied its expertise in constructing high-performance environments to ensure that the facility meets strict operational, regulatory, and quality requirements for health product manufacturing.
Beyond supporting Pharmavite’s internal needs, the facility is expected to contribute to the local economy through job creation and long-term investment in the community. It represents a vote of confidence in the Ohio workforce and reinforces the region’s position as a hub for pharmaceutical and nutritional manufacturing in the U.S.
As consumer preferences shift toward transparency, science-backed products, and convenience, the New Albany facility is poised to play a key role in meeting those expectations with innovative gummy products that align with Pharmavite’s mission and standards.
