The renovated East Stands at Michie Stadium are now open at the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York, following completion of a more than two-year construction program led by Turner. The project modernized one of the stadium’s primary seating areas while allowing the venue to continue hosting football, lacrosse, graduation ceremonies and other events.
The approximately 160,000-square-foot renovation preserves the historic character of the stadium while adding updated facilities for cadets, graduates and fans.
The project rebuilt and modernized the East Stands with new premium seating and hospitality spaces. Improvements also include upgraded concessions, building systems and circulation areas.
The renovated structure provides expanded views of the playing field and surrounding Hudson Valley. The work also revitalized the Army Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the broader stadium improvements.
Michie Stadium first opened in 1924, and the preservation project was designed to maintain elements associated with the venue’s longstanding traditions while introducing modern amenities.

The renovated East Stands welcomed cadets and fans for the first time as Army opened its 2026 football season.
