Construction owners and project stakeholders are increasingly reliant on experienced leadership across operations, finance, procurement and specialized market sectors. Turner Construction Company announced a broad group of leadership appointments and promotions Sept. 23, covering multiple areas of its business.
Chris Killian was named managing director with responsibility for SourceBlue, while Jodi Rennie takes on managing director responsibilities for Business Center 3. John Gromos will oversee healthcare, sports and public assembly, and aviation and transportation markets as managing director.
The appointments also include several senior vice president roles. Michelle Bischoff will serve as senior vice president of finance, while Larry Boresen will oversee procurement and labor relations as senior vice president.
Within Turner’s Advanced Technology Group, Dan Cronin, Dan Fine and Brad Richey were appointed senior vice presidents. Sara Kendall was appointed senior vice president of SourceBlue. Amit Patel and Kyle Weller also moved into senior vice president positions.
Todd Schmitt will serve as senior vice president of finance, while Frank Yozzo takes on the roles of senior vice president, chief operations officer for SourceBlue.
The leadership changes extend across construction operations and project development. Dana Blackwood and John Ricketts were appointed vice presidents and general managers.
Ross Cromer, Nicole Balli Little, Dan O’Brien and Allen Ziemkiewicz will serve as vice presidents in construction executive roles. Rick Dirkschneider, Dayle Jones, Damion Pourciau and Nick Sevier will serve as vice presidents overseeing operations management.
Jim Faria was appointed vice president of preconstruction, adding leadership responsibility in an area that supports project planning and development before construction begins.
Turner also announced the return of Darin Hart as vice president in the Advanced Technology Group.
The appointments place new and expanded leadership responsibilities across functions that directly affect project delivery, including construction operations, preconstruction, finance, procurement, labor relations and technology.
For owners and contractors, the breadth of the changes provides insight into how Turner is structuring leadership across specialized markets and operational functions. The appointments also add senior oversight to areas including healthcare, transportation, advanced technology and SourceBlue as Turner continues its stated focus on business growth.
