The grants will finance projects that improve transportation networks, freight movement and public infrastructure across the country.

Funding Priorities Across Transportation Sectors

The BUILD program will provide funding for 127 projects in 52 states, U.S. territories and the District of Columbia.

Road and bridge improvements received the largest share of funding, totaling approximately $1.3 billion, or about 77% of all awards. The BUILD grant program attracted nearly 1,200 eligible applications requesting more than $14.5 billion, highlighting continued demand for federal transportation investment.

Why It Matters

For construction owners, contractors and infrastructure developers, the latest BUILD awards create opportunities across multiple transportation sectors, including highways, ports, rail, aviation and transit.
