A new wave of development is taking shape in Glen Carbon as construction advances on the $140 million, 9,000-square-foot Victory Men’s Health facility along Illinois 157. The site, located next to Edley’s Bar-B-Que and Brightly Senior Living, is already transforming the landscape, signaling what local leaders call a “next-generation” approach to healthcare and wellness.

Ground was broken on August 4, with Plocher Construction Co. managing the build. The project represents more than just another clinic—it’s a hybrid model designed to merge traditional medical care with fitness, recovery, and preventative health under one roof.
Owner Amy Stuttle explained the vision during the groundbreaking: “It’s not just a Victory Men’s Health. We’re also putting a state-of-the-art gym in this facility, and our corporate office. And so it’s definitely a unique concept, and it’s not just unique to this area, it’s unique in the country. I don’t know of another clinic in the country that has a state-of-the-art gym, state-of-the-art medical facility.”
A “Wellness Ecosystem”
The clinic will include men’s and women’s health services, a private gym exclusive to clients, and advanced recovery facilities. According to Stuttle, offerings such as red light therapy, cold plunge treatments, and spa-style locker rooms will position the business at the intersection of healthcare and lifestyle improvement.

Victory Men’s Health currently operates four clinics in the greater St. Louis region, and the Glen Carbon site will serve as its Illinois headquarters. The expansion reflects growing demand for integrated health services addressing issues such as hormone imbalance, sexual health, weight loss, and vitamin deficiencies.
Community and Economic Impact
The project is expected to bring new jobs during construction and permanent positions once the facility opens in 2026. Glen Carbon trustees approved the site plan during their July 22 meeting, with officials highlighting the benefits of attracting a regional healthcare brand that can serve residents while drawing visitors from neighboring communities.

The clinic also complements ongoing development along Illinois 157, where restaurants, senior living, and retail businesses are creating a hub of activity. With Glen Carbon’s population steadily growing, the arrival of an innovative healthcare model aligns with the village’s vision for sustainable, long-term growth.
A Regional First
Industry observers say Victory’s project mirrors broader national trends as healthcare providers pivot toward “wellness ecosystems” that blend treatment with lifestyle support. While medical clinics traditionally operate separately from gyms and spas, Victory’s approach aims to remove barriers and streamline access.
“This is about giving clients everything they need to improve their health and recovery in one place,” Stuttle said. “It’s about convenience, quality, and innovation.”
Looking Ahead
With construction expected to continue into 2026, the project’s progress has become a visible marker for drivers along the busy highway. For Glen Carbon, the development represents more than just a new business—it is part of a larger effort to build a regional destination for healthcare and wellness innovation, helping distinguish the community from others across the Metro East.
As Stuttle put it, “This isn’t just another clinic. It’s a model for the future of health and wellness, and we’re proud to bring it here to Glen Carbon.”
