HOUSTON, TX (Oct 30, 2026) — Bellows Construction is proud to announce a significant new chapter in its prestigious 112-year history: a transition from family-led to employee-led leadership. Bellows will remain family-owned, preserving the Bellows family legacy and stewardship while empowering the next generation of employees to lead the company forward.

Effective January 1, 2027, Laura Bellows will step back from her current role as Chief Executive Officer, transitioning organizational leadership to Tony Mansoorian, Bellows’ current Chief Operating Officer and a 26-year, second-generation employee. Laura will serve as CEO Emeritus until officially retiring on October 16, 2027, marking 20 years of dedicated leadership of the company; she will continue to serve the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Reinforcing a clear and unified path forward, Jack Bellows will conclude his tenure as President at the end of year. Jack will continue to serve on the Board of Directors, sharing his invaluable experience and advisory support.

The Bellows family and Board have tremendous confidence that Tony will continue to ensure the company’s foundational values - integrity, craftsmanship and delivering projects to its clients’ complete satisfaction.

A Homegrown Leader Rooted in Community and Craft

Tony’s career at Bellows began in January 2000 when he joined his father as a field engineer’s helper. Over the next two decades, he rose through project leadership managing and overseeing complex healthcare and research projects in the Texas Medical Center, where he established Bellows’ dedicated Medical Center Renovation Team in 2009, now a cornerstone of the company’s healthcare portfolio. He was named Executive Vice President in 2012 and Chief Operating Officer in 2013.

Tony also brings a unique connection to Houston’s cultural arts community. A former performer and graduate of Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, he appeared on the stages of Jones Hall and the Wortham Theater Center, both venues Bellows proudly built or renovated.

"Bellows Construction has always been about people, integrity and accountability," said Tony, incoming CEO. "I’ve spent 26 years growing alongside our craftspeople and partners, and I am deeply honored to lead Bellows into its next exciting era. We will continue to innovate our business practices, elevate our employee leaders and deliver exceptional experiences for our clients.”

Honoring Two Decades of Devoted Stewardship

Laura Bellows stepped into executive leadership in October of 2007 after the untimely death of her late husband and former Bellows President, Tom Bellows.  Dedicated to continuing Bellows Construction’s reputation for integrity and excellence, Laura has been committed to client service in her leadership role, as well as supporting the loyal, expert personnel who are the foundation of the company. Beyond her corporate leadership, Laura is strongly engaged in Houston’s civic community and currently serves on the boards of Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy, the Greater Houston Partnership and DePelchin Children’s Center.

“Leading our extraordinary Bellows team over the past 20 years has been a profound privilege,” said Laura Bellows. "Moving to an employee-led structure that carries our family’s vision forward is the truest expression of who we are, and I’m excited about what lies ahead. Tony Mansoorian has earned the respect and confidence of our family, our employees and our clients, and we are proud to hand the leadership of Bellows to him as we embark on this new chapter.”

Supporting Personal Passions and Family Legacy

Jack Bellows, who joined the firm in 2008 and served as a project manager before stepping into leadership, will complete his tenure as a full-time employee on Dec 31, 2026. Jack is transitioning his focus toward family life, outside business ventures, academic passions and philanthropic work with the arts, educational and healthcare institutions he has collaborated with throughout his career.

"Bellows Construction remains a cornerstone of my life, and I’m excited to continue my work on the board; we have a firm footing and an outstanding pipeline of future work," said Jack Bellows. "Bellows Construction has always been about its people – and now, we’re letting our people lead it. With his passion for our employees, craftsmanship and exemplary client service, Tony is the perfect leader to guide Bellows into its next era of growth.”
