
IRVING, Texas—Fluor Corporation (NYSE: FLR) announced today that PanTeXas Deterrence LLC, a joint venture led by BWX Technologies, Inc., Fluor, SOC (a Day & Zimmermann Company), and The Texas A&M University System, has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) to manage and operate the Pantex Plant near Amarillo, Texas. The contract, initially for five years with potential for three additional five-year options, represents a significant commitment with a total funding potential of approximately $30 billion.
